Hey Cara!
I’m interested to know about how you manage centers in your music classroom. Do you have them switch centers during class, or do you have them stay at one center the whole time?
Thanks!

Last year, I had the children do two centers each class time. It ended up being about 20 minutes per center if everyone was on time. This year, I haven’t quite decided since my classes have been shortened to 35 minutes and I have double the amount of kids at a time. I’m still working on how to manage that madness.

Hi! I am also doing Centers this year for my music classes– I have 6 centers as well. iPads, Smartboard (using short video clips), card games (Fiddlesticks and Classical Snap), Listening Center/Art Center, reading center and Yoga Pretzels. You should check out Yoga Pretzels! They are super fun! I’m looking at ways to do Composer centers and am struggling with ways to make it fun too. I’m going to try the Job Application.
Oh yea~ I LOVE your signs! How did you create those? Photoshop?
Thank you for your comments! I’ll definitely add Yoga Pretzels to my check-out list. LOL
I actually made all the signs in Powerpoint. I’m ashamed to admit it but I have no idea how to use photoshop. I wish I did.
