Reading Now?

So, Jennifer at The Yellow Brick Road is hosting a Linky Party called “What Are You Reading Now.”

Here is my dilemma:

What Are You Reading Now

Haha!  Is there such a thing as too much?  I bought a Kindle (my first one evah!) the week of Thanksgiving and, since then, I’ve read 34 books (because, yes, I’ve counted). Last night, I ended up reading three books at staying up until 4am.  (Note: I’m not allowed to read books before during the work week for this reason).

It is quite the random mix of everything from Jane Austen fan fiction (who knew that existed?) to random comedy books to bios of polygamists (what? it is randomly fascinating).

Of course, then there are the stacks of books that I like to call my good intentions.

Case in point:

Anyway,  I’ll hit a few of my most recent favs.

Is Everyone Hanging Out Without MeIs Everyone Hanging Out With Me? (And Other Concerns) by Mindy Kaling

I wish Mindy Kaling was my friend.  She is absolutely hysterical and sometimes seems like she’s talking about my life specifically (obviously not).  Still, we’d be great friends.

Bedtime Stories for children you hateBedtime Stores for Children You Hate
by Antoninette Bergin

Yikes!  That’s what I have to say about this book.  Each of these “bedtime stories” start out all sweet but then turn quite horrifying…..not always like gross or horror just like “Wait, did that just happen?”

photoshop for dummiesPhotoshop for Dummies!  Oh yeah!

Anyway, hope you enjoyed reading my random reading business.

Thanks for reading!

  1. Thanks for linking up! Musicophilia by Oliver Sacks was a fascinating read. It’s one of those books that makes you want to drop everything and just keep reading. I hope you’re able to get to it soon!
